Known Issue: TikTok Videos in Chrome on iOS
If You're Playing on iPhone Using Chrome
Some iPhone users playing the Video Challenge in Chrome have reported that TikTok videos play without sound. This is a known browser limitation, not a bug in our app.
Here's what's happening and how to fix it.
Why This Happens
Chrome on iOS has strict autoplay restrictions that block unmuted video playback, even after you've interacted with the page. This is a browser-level decision by Google that affects all embedded video content, not just pokerfacetest.com.
Safari on iOS handles this differently and allows embedded videos to play with sound after user interaction.
The Fix
Use Safari on iPhone. Safari provides the best experience for the Video Challenge on iOS, including full audio playback and stable page layout.
To open pokerfacetest.com in Safari:
- Copy the URL:
https://pokerfacetest.com - Open Safari
- Paste and go
Additional Chrome on iOS Issue
Beyond audio, Chrome on iOS may display the page layout slightly differently during gameplay due to how it handles fixed-position elements. Safari provides the most stable visual experience on iPhone.
