Poker Face Test Scores Explained
What your results reveal about your emotional control
After playing the Poker Face Test, you receive a score from 0 to 100. Here's exactly what that score means and what tier you've been placed in.
How the score is calculated
Our AI uses your webcam to sample your facial expressions every 100 milliseconds during each 3-second image round. It measures:
- Happiness (smile detection)
- Surprise (eyebrow raise, eye widening)
- Disgust (nose wrinkle, lip curl)
- Fear (eye widening, brow tension)
- Blinks (involuntary eye closure)
- Head movement (looking away)
Each expression is weighted and penalized. The more neutral your face stays, the higher your score.
The 5 tiers
๐ง Stone Cold (90-100)
You have an exceptional poker face. Your facial muscles show virtually no involuntary response to emotional triggers. Less than 5% of players reach this tier. You belong at a poker table.
โ ๏ธ Poker Pro (70-89)
You have strong emotional control. Minor microexpressions occasionally break through, but overall you maintain impressive composure. You'd do well in high-stakes negotiations.
๐ Cracking (50-69)
You're in the middle ground. You can suppress major reactions but struggle with subtle expressions. This is where most players land. With practice, you can move up.
๐ฌ Leaking (30-49)
Your emotions are showing. You're suppressing some reactions but your face is giving away more than you think. Common triggers are catching you off guard.
๐ Shattered (0-29)
Your poker face needs serious work. Almost every image triggers a visible reaction. The good news: now you know, and you can practice.
